The Best of Nassau

Even though we'll have to settle for trips to Puerto La Yarda and Punta Kitchen for the time being, we can still dream of our favorite destinations and look forward to seeing them again. Ron and I have been to Nassau many times and always find something new to see and do. Here are a few ideas for your next vacation in Nassau.

John Watling's Distillery
Cool off with a rum drink (John Watling's Distillery)

Cabbage Beach
Take a long walk on the beach (Cabbage Beach)

Atlantis
Try your luck at a casino (Atlantis Resort)

Ardastra Gardens and Zoo
Watch for colorful wildlife (Ardastra Gardens and Zoo)

conch shells
Shop for locally made arts and crafts (conch shells creations)

Blue Lagoon
Take a boat ride to a private island (Blue Lagoon)

the Cloisters and Versailles Gardens
Step back in history (the Cloisters)

conch fritters
Sample some Bahamian cuisine (Tru Bahamian Food Tours)

mural
Enjoy the local art (street mural)

We'll be back as soon as we can!

  1. It will be good for the world to return to normal and for you to take new trips and make new discoveries....and journal entries!

  2. Gorgeous pictures! Happy memories. A real pick-me-up for these stay at home days. Speaking of which, that third photo of the casino light sculpture (fixture?) looks kind of Coronavirus-ish, doesn't it?

  3. I love those super fluffy chickens! And you should totally do a post on Puerto La Backyarda and Punto Couch y Netflicia.
